The purpose of the article is to analyze the correlation between the style of attachment to organisation and the disloyal behaviour of individuals such as criticism (expressed in evaluating its functioning) and breaking up (declared as the intention of leaving the current workplace or changing it). The object of this research were the workers of 41 companies in Silesian province. In order to collect the data, they used a specially designed survey questioning the workers’ opinion on the functioning of the company – its working conditions, organisation, staff competence, care to fulfill workers needs – and the Polish Version of the Meyer and Allen Scale of Organisational Commitment. The received data was analysed in terms of quality and correlation. The results confirmed the hypothesis about correlation between the type of commitment and disloyal behaviour. They can be used in explaining the social behaviour of the members of organisations and also in working out a strategy for creating an image of the company.
