The notion of psychopathy, however controversial and ambiguous, still becoming more popular and consciously applied by the clinicists, is undoubtedly connected with the growing popularity of Robert D. Hare’s (1991, 1996) conception. In hereby publication the survey of opinions and investigation dealing with the process of self-regulation and self-control of individuals with psychopathic personality disorders will be presented, which significantly contributes to the recognition of ethiology, development and conditioning of such a type of personality. The above also shows that what is on the level of the individual analysed in the category of disorders, in terms of social stratum may prove desired as the psychopathic personality is the only type of all disorders which features are socially approved, and the psychopathy of the social life is more often believed to be the symbol of the contemporary world.
